Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist II for the Womens Respiratory Care Services Department at Winter Haven Hospital. This part-time exempt role is based in Winter Haven, FL and supports patient-centered care.

The position requires a valid RRT credential, NBRC credentials, and CPR. ACLS within 6 months, PALS preferred; on-call duties apply. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver respiratory care under physician orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician orders and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care.

Position Details:

• Facility: BayCare Health System - Respiratory Care Services
• Location: Winter Haven Hospital - Womens
• Status: Part Time Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45AM - 7:15PM
• Shift: Days
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: Yes

Certifications and Licensures Required:

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)

• Active NBRC Credential for RRT

• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• NPR (Neonatal) - within 6 months

• ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months

• PALS (Pediatric) - Preferred

• Reference summary for details - Preferred

Education Required:

• Technical Respiratory Therapy

• Associate's Respiratory Therapy - Preferred

Experience Required:

• 6 Months Respiratory
