Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for Mease Countryside Hospital. You will provide respiratory care under physician orders, work with a diverse care team, and support NICU/pediatric patients in a high-volume setting.

The role requires an RRT license with NBRC credential, CPR, and readiness for NICU/pediatric duties; 6 months of experience is typical, with opportunities for tuition reimbursement and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• RRT license and NBRC credential required.
• Experience in NICU or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong clinical and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care
