Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Respiratory Therapist for Mease Countryside Hospital in Florida. The role supports respiratory care services, working nights with a 6:30PM–7:00AM shift schedule and every-other weekend, as part of a large Tampa Bay healthcare network.

The therapist will perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures, participate in urgent and critical care cases, and contribute to a collaborative care team. A comprehensive benefits package and relocation support are provided.

Qualifications

• RRT license required.
• Active NBRC credential for RRT.
• CPR required.
• NRP within 6 months.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS (Pediatric) required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician order and hospital protocols.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Performs diagnostic testing; delivers emergency/adult critical care.

The Respiratory Therapist is a clinical professional who utilizes the department's scope of services to access, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as an integral member of the healthcare team.

• Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:30PM - 7:00AM

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care

Certifications and Licensures

Required:

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
• NRP (Neonatal) - within 6 months
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) - within 6 months
• PALS (Pediatric) -

Preferred Education

Required:

• Technical Respiratory Therapy
• Associate's Respiratory Therapy -

Preferred Experience

Required:

• 6 Months Respiratory
