Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide inpatient and emergency respiratory care at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital. You will work under physician orders, follow established protocols and deliver both invasive and noninvasive treatments.

The role requires NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS w/in 30 days, and PALS/NRP as applicable. Candidates should have technical training in Respiratory Therapy and prefer an associate degree. Day shifts, full-time, on-site.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS within 30 days
• PALS within 6 months if pediatric care
• NRP within 6 months if neonatal care
• Technical program completion or degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care under physician orders and hospital protocols
• Perform diagnostic testing and advanced respiratory assessments
• Provide emergency care and adult critical care services
• Maintain proficiency in invasive and noninvasive procedures
• Must work 4 shifts

Job Summary

Provides respiratory care to patients in hospital-based and free-standing emergency/trauma centers. Delivers respiratory care services under physician orders and in accordance with established protocols. Functions independently in situations requiring judgment and performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
