Job summary

Sorenson Communications in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Quality Control Technician for an on-site, full-time role. You will oversee the return product process, test and refurbish phones, and prepare reusable units for field installation with new customers.

Responsibilities include receiving and organizing returned equipment, managing the RMA process, refurbishing and reshipping functional phones, and producing weekly/monthly shipment reports. A HS diploma and warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and through written reports.
• Must be able to meet/supervisor daily goals in a fast paced, constantly changing warehouse and quality controlled environment.
• Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, processing, and organizing returned equipment and warehouse materials as assigned.
• May operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when assigned and appropriately trained/certified.
• Organize and prioritize warehouse components
• Manage and organize the RMA process to test all defective returns
• Refurbish and reship returned phones that are operational
• Be trained and be an expert in all warehouse functions and operations
• Provide weekly and monthly reports of items shipped and summaries of challenges and successes
• Show a willingness to accept and complete new tasks and assignments as needed
• Positive attitude and team player
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
