Job summary

Sorenson Communications in Utah is seeking an RMA Technician to oversee the returned product process, test and refurbish CaptionCall phones, and prepare reusable units for field installation. You will support receiving, processing, and organizing returned equipment while ensuring quality and timely repairs.

The role requires basic warehouse experience, strong communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

• Be trained and be an expert in all warehouse functions and operations
• Provide weekly and monthly reports of items shipped and summaries of challenges and successes
• Show willingness to accept and complete new tasks and assignments as needed
• Positive attitude and team player

Job Summary

Product that is deemed to be reusable will be cleaned, refurbished with any missing components, and prepared to be sent back to the field for installation with a new customer

• May operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when assigned and appropriately trained/certified.
• Organize and prioritize warehouse components
• Manage and organize the RMA process to test all defective returns
• Refurbish and reship returned phones that are operational
• Be trained and be an expert in all warehouse functions and operations
• Provide weekly and monthly reports of items shipped and summaries of challenges and successes
• Show a willingness to accept and complete new tasks and assignments as needed
• Positive attitude and team player
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education

Minimum:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse Environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Intermediate Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
• Must be able to communicate effectively orally and through written reports
• Must be able to meet/supervisor daily goals in a fast paced, constantly changing warehouse and quality controlled environment.
• Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, tools, and to handle other computer components.
• Walking, bending, squatting, and kneeling regularly required.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull 10-20 lbs. frequently, with occasional manipulation of items 20-100 lbs.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
