Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking an Electronics Quality Technician-I for our Salt Lake City site. This on-site role supports StreamCaster MANET product development and manufacturing, focusing on visual/functional PCB inspection and basic rework.

You will work within a manufacturing leadership framework, performing soldering, debugging, and data recording while maintaining ESD-safe labs and following IPC standards.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years hands-on electronics manufacturing or an Associate’s degree in Electronics.
• Proficiency with soldering equipment (hand irons, bottom burners, hot air stations).
• Able to read wiring diagrams or simple circuit drawings.
• U.S. Person required due to federal contracts.
• Background check and drug test clearance required.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect PCB assemblies visually and functionally per IPC-J-STD 001 standards.
• Perform basic rework and soldering on through-hole and surface mount components.
• Interpret basic schematics and assembly drawings to support inspection and rework.
• Assist in production testing and record results.
• Maintain ESD-safe work areas and follow cleanroom procedures.
• Support calibration and maintenance of quality lab equipment.
• Document defects and assist in quality data collection.
