Job summary

Global Roles is seeking a Caseworker to provide trauma-informed services to recently arrived refugees and other qualified immigrants, helping them meet basic needs and work toward self-sufficiency. The role coordinates services, develops self-sufficiency plans, and collaborates with clients and partners.

Responsibilities include coordinating housing, food, medical care, transportation, and community orientation; conducting intake; maintaining documentation; and partnering with service providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Experience with refugee/immigrant populations in casework and/or pre-arrival services.
• Experience navigating program eligibility and documenting services.
• Fluent in English; additional languages helpful.
• Proficient with MS Office; data entry and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre- and post-arrival services to meet living essentials such as housing, food, medical care, transportation, and orientation.
• Purchase items, arrange housing, airport pickups, home visits, and field-based services.
• Conduct intake and develop self-sufficiency plans with clients; provide referrals and advocacy.
• Monitor progress and document interactions; input data in databases; assist with reporting.
• Collaborate with coworkers and partner organizations; build relationships with service providers.
• Use personal insured vehicle or public transport to travel as needed across service area.
• Support program quality assurance and ensure proper use of funds.
• Other duties as assigned.
