Job summary

Bethany Christian Services seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead behavioral health services for refugee and immigrant programs in Jenkintown, PA. You will oversee intake, assessments, therapy, and staff supervision, ensuring compliance with contracts and budgets.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work or equivalent, 2+ years post-master’s clinical experience, licensure, and strong supervisory and communication skills. Hybrid work with strong faith-based mission and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services or equivalent field of study from an accredited college.
• Two (2) years post Master’s experience in clinical practice;
• Demonstrate excellent clinical, therapeutic and crisis intervention skills;
• Demonstrated supervisory, verbal and written communication skills;
• Possess professional licensure or registration;
• Demonstrate the ability to assist with budget creation and achievement for the counseling department;
• Must be able to pass required medical examinations and have the physical ability to fulfill the essential job functions, including physical restraints of a resident;
• Successfully pass an annual TB test and document preference to receive or decline Hepatitis immunization;
• Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
• Must be 21 years old with a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;
• Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
• Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.
• Additional Minimum Qualifications for this Position
• Exhibit integrity and good moral character to provide appropriate care;
• Possess the relevant experience and/or qualifications to work with these clients and clients with special needs; and,
• Be properly trained and licensed, as necessary.
• Must be able to show proof of immunity to vaccine-preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route:
• TDap or Tdap: Complete primary vaccination series. If primary vaccination series completed in childhood, one Tdap dose in adulthood.
• Results of medical examination (as required by State Licensing, including results of TB tests and immunization records).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate behavioral health intake and referrals. Ensure case assignments are made in a fair and equitable manner
• Assume responsibility for case assessment, appropriate treatment, supervision of ongoing service and case closure
• Provide direct therapy and/or behavioral health counseling services to clients
• Write intakes, reports and closings according to unit expectations
• Provide psychosocial assessments when required
• Provide clinical evaluation as requested and submit written reports as required by policies and all contracts
• Provide consultation to other units as needed
• Ensure agency policies and procedures are enforced through completion of staff evaluations, conference requests, time sheets and reimbursement vouchers and review of utilization reports
