Position: Refrigeration Technician

Reporting to the VP of Maintenance and Operations, the Refrigeration Technician maintains arena refrigeration systems and performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure efficient operation and physical condition of the facilities. Work hours include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. The role may involve working independently or with a team.

Part-time or full-time hours available. Company vehicle provided.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or related fields, or completion of refrigeration/HVAC trade school.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration equipment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle various projects/tasks.
• Relevant licenses/certifications (hoisting, OSHA 10-hour, etc.) or ability to obtain them.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
• Consent to background checks including CORI/SORI and Motor Vehicle Check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain arena refrigeration systems, including installation, servicing, repair, and parts replacement.
• Perform system checks, troubleshooting, and refrigerant recovery.
• Maintain records of service logs and reports.
• Research and resolve complex system issues.
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
