Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Refrigeration Generalist to keep refrigeration equipment running and production temperatures stable. You will repair and maintain machinery, troubleshoot issues in ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, and related mechanical systems, and complete required skilled trades training.

The role involves working both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures and requires following all safety procedures. The position is the 2nd shift and may require overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year Refrigeration/HVAC experience or enrollment in Refrigeration/HVAC school for training.
• Must provide Social Security Number during application review.

Responsibilities

• Keep refrigeration machinery running to maintain production temperatures.
• Repair and maintain operating conditions of refrigeration, boiler, and related systems; troubleshoot problems.
• Set up, inspect, adjust, and break down machinery; complete required daily documentation.
• Work in varied environments with extreme temperatures; wear safety procedures at all times.
