Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to maintain refrigeration, boiler systems, air compressors, and hot water systems across the plant. The role involves preventive maintenance and diagnosing problems in a fast-paced food processing environment.

The ideal candidate has industrial maintenance experience, preferably with ammonia/refrigeration, and is able to work the C shift overnight as required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of continuous maintenance experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.
• Willing to work C shift (overnight) starting 01-02-2025.
• Industrial maintenance experience and ammonia/refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain refrigeration, boiler systems, air compressors, and hot water systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot/repair plant equipment.
• Work in processing or slaughter areas and in cold, damp, or hot environments.
