Henderson Engineers is seeking a mid-level to experienced Refrigeration Designer to contribute expertise across multiple market sectors, collaborating with our sister company Henderson Building Solutions to deliver a unique client experience.

Roles involve integrating engineering with field experience, applying CAD and HVAC tools, and supporting project delivery while pursuing continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3 years of experience, or 6 years without degree.
• PE license may count toward 1 year of direct experience.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC software (IESVE, Trane Trace).

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced electrical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Performs research and makes recommendations on system feasibility and equipment.
• Supports business development and client relationships.
• Maintains industry software knowledge (Revit, Bluebeam, MS Office).
• May coordinate project activities and assist with project delivery and client meetings.
