Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a mid-level Refrigeration Designer to contribute expertise across multiple sector projects. You will collaborate with our design teams to integrate engineering knowledge with field experience, delivering high-quality client service through precise calculations, layouts, and coordination with partners.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering degree and 3+ years of experience, with proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field plus 3 years of experience, or 6 years without a degree.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit).
• HVAC design software experience (IESVE, Trane Trace).

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and designs of building engineering systems with independence.
• Prepare electrical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Research systems feasibility and evaluate products for applications.
• Support business development through client relationship activities.
• Learn and apply industry software including Revit, Bluebeam, and MS Office.
• Coordinate project activities: emails, scope, schedule, client meetings.
• Train and assist others as needed.
