Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a mid-level to experienced Refrigeration Designer to contribute expertise across six market sectors, combining engineering knowledge with field insights. This role collaborates with Henderson Building Solutions to deliver exceptional client experiences and uses Revit, AutoCAD, and HVAC tools daily.

You will engage in design calculations, create layouts and drawings, review shop drawings, and support business development while advancing your skills in industry software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and 3 years of experience, or 6 years without degree.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu.
• CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and HVAC design software (IESVE, Trane Trace).

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepare basic to advanced electrical system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Perform research and evaluate feasibility of systems or equipment.
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and customers to support business development.
• Proactively learn industry software including Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Office.
• Support project coordination activities and client meetings as needed.
• Assist with training and mentoring others.
