Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced Warehouse Maintenance Manager for a refrigerated facility in Kentucky. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, plan schedules, and develop preventive maintenance programs to support safe and efficient facility performance.

You will ensure OSHA and local code compliance, manage budgets, and mentor maintenance staff. A strong background in RETA, HAZMAT, and SAP/Excel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of all eight RETA courses required.
• HAZMAT certification required.
• Successful completion of the Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance activities for a refrigerated warehouse, including installation, repair, and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems.
• Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance staff to ensure productivity and completion of jobs.
• Develop, implement, and adjust preventive maintenance programs based on reports and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all relevant codes.
• Resolve maintenance issues and coordinate repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
• Assist management with annual maintenance budgets and long-term capital planning.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
