Job summary

Delek US Holdings in Texas is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the safe, reliable operation of refinery mechanical equipment and process systems. You will evaluate fixed and rotating equipment, develop engineering solutions, and support maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects.

The role requires a 4-year Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience in refining or similar industry; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Two or more years of mechanical engineering experience in refining, petrochemical processing, chemical manufacturing, or similar continuous-process industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for refinery fixed and rotating equipment.
• Evaluate equipment performance and root-cause analyses; develop corrective actions.
• Support refinery mechanical integrity program including inspections and fitness-for-service.
• Develop scopes of work, specs, calculations, and design packages for maintenance and capital projects.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, Reliability, Process Engineering, and contractors.
• Provide field support for troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, startup, and testing.
• Ensure designs comply with refinery procedures, PSM, and API/ASME/National Board standards.
