Delek US Holdings is seeking a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer for its Big Spring refinery. The role focuses on safe, reliable operation of mechanical equipment and process systems, supporting maintenance, turnarounds, and capital projects while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of refining or related industry experience, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a collaborative, cross-functional mindset.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required; in lieu, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Two or more years mechanical engineering experience in refining, petrochemical processing, chemical manufacturing, or similar continuous-process industry.
• Licensure not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide mechanical engineering support for refinery fixed and rotating equipment (pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, fired heaters, tanks, pumps, compressors, turbines, valves).
• Evaluate equipment performance and degradation; lead or support root-cause analyses; develop corrective actions.
• Support refinery mechanical integrity program through inspections, fitness-for-service, life evaluations, and repair planning.
• Develop scopes, specifications, data sheets, calculations, cost estimates, schedules, and design packages for maintenance, turnaround, and capital projects.
• Review drawings, diagrams, calculations, vendor proposals, inspection reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide field support for troubleshooting, installation, startup, shutdown, and performance testing.
• Participate in management-of-change, process hazard analyses, and other process safety activities.
