Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Wood Dale, IL is hiring a Referral Representative I to manage customer contact related to Referral Testing. You will resolve complex issues, act as a liaison between clients and referral vendors, and ensure accurate specimen handling and reporting.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and comfort with data entry and Microsoft Office tools. Work hours are Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to handle inquiries from clients and vendors.
• Experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all internal and external customer contact regarding Referral Testing.
• Receive, resolve and follow up with complex customer issues.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external customers and Referral vendors.
• Retrieve, sort and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Prepare specimens and packages for shipment according to IATA regulations.
• Report laboratory results using established protocols and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
