Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Referral Representative I in Lenexa, KS, working Tuesday to Saturday, 1:30 AM to 10:00 AM. You will manage referral testing contact, resolve complex customer issues, and act as a liaison between clients and laboratories.

Responsibilities include processing specimens, ensuring quality, and communicating test results while adhering to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety standards. A high school diploma is required, with clinical lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to two years clinical laboratory experience.
• Customer service and/or medical background preferred.
• Basic medical terminology applicable to clinical laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, sort and process specimens for shipment to referral laboratories.
• Ensure sample quality and accuracy; identify problems with specimens or missing information.
• Prepare specimens and packages for shipment according to IATA regulations.
• Handle all customer inquiries regarding reporting of results and service quality issues.
