Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical office, call center, patient access area, or customer service.
• Typing speed 35 CWPM required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process signed physician orders/referrals for accurate clinical documentation and care delivery.
• Perform online insurance eligibility/benefit verification and pre-certification/authorization.
• Provide referral clearance and financial education on designated cases; notify patient, guarantor, and providers with pertinent information.
