Qualifications

• One year of insurance verification/referral processing experience preferred.
• Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party payers advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy important.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate referral process between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies.
• Oversee pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by the provider.
