QuarterLine Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a Referral Clerk to support the Military Treatment Facility with referral and appointment coordination. The role involves assisting patients and staff, reviewing referrals, and ensuring timely processing per MTF guidelines.

The candidate will handle inquiries, educate patients on procedures, and maintain confidential documentation in MHS GENESIS. High school diploma and medical terminology knowledge are required.

Qualificações

• Must have working knowledge of medical terminology.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience in a medical setting is preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.

Responsabilidades

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients and staff with referral-related questions.
• Review and process referrals for completeness and eligibility.
• Schedule and reschedule specialty appointments per MTF guidelines.
• Process routine, urgent, and emergent referrals within established timeframes.
• Coordinate referrals with outside providers or insurance when needed.
• Maintain accurate referral documentation in MHS GENESIS and other systems.
• Educate patients on referral procedures, appointments, and timelines.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality.
