AltaMed Health Services Corp in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Referral Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely data entry of referral requests and coordinate care for urgent and ongoing specialty referrals.

You will act as a liaison between patients, providers, utilization management, and multiple departments to secure timely access to specialty care, supported by your experience and commitment to high‑quality health services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 4+ years of experience required.
• Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred.
• A valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Accurate and timely data entry of referral requests into the appropriate portal.
• Follow-up on all specialty referrals and coordination of care for urgent referrals.
• Serve as a liaison between patient, providers, utilization management, and departments to ensure timely access to specialty care.
