AltaMed Health Services in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Clinic Referrals Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely data entry of referral requests and follow-up on specialty referrals. You will coordinate care between patients, providers, utilization management, and multiple departments to ensure timely access to specialty care.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 4+ years of experience, and a BLS certification; a Medical Assistant certificate and bilingual abilities

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a related role.
• Bilingual abilities in English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese preferred; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Enter referral requests accurately into the appropriate portal.
• Follow up on all specialty referrals and coordinate urgent referrals.
• Serve as liaison between patient, providers, utilization management and departments to ensure timely access to specialty care.
