Job summary

University Behavioral Health of Denton is seeking an Admissions Liaison to manage referral calls, coordinate transfers, and support admission workflows. You will liaise with referral sources, physicians, and hospital staff, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing of referrals.

The role requires RN licensure in Texas and a preferred Bachelor’s degree, with 1–3 years in psychiatric care. Shift: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM, on-site at UBH Denton.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in psychiatric health care is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task under periods of high stress.

Responsibilities

• Process inquiry and referral calls in a timely manner.
• Serve as liaison to referral sources, physicians, unit staff and hospital personnel.
• Enter call data into the facility’s database and manage e-fax applications for referrals.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and Admissions Triage Staff while following hospital policies.
