Job summary

The Sierra Center Work Release program in New Haven, operated by The Connection, is seeking a Residential Aide to support adults re-entering the community after incarceration. This role requires a patient, structured, and compassionate approach, focusing on safety, supervision, and individualized treatment education.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience or an Associate's Degree, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide.
• Associate's Degree is acceptable.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide structure and supervision to justice-involved individuals reintegrating into the community.
• Support individuals in recovery and those with client/customer support backgrounds.
• Collaborate with Community Justice program staff to rehabilitate and educate clients from incarceration.
