Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a Career Advisor to deliver comprehensive career services to reentry clients. The role involves intensive coaching, assessments, job placement, and 12‑month retention tracking in collaboration with employer engagement and local workforce partners.

The ideal candidate will conduct vocational assessments, create development plans, and help clients with resumes, interviewing, and workplace readiness.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting vocational assessments and helping clients overcome barriers to employment.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with diverse populations.
• Comfort with data entry, case notes, and CRM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career coaching and assessments for reentry clients.
• Assist with resume prep, interview skills, and workplace etiquette.
• Develop employment and training plans addressing employer needs and job seeker goals.
• Support participation in workshops and employer events; track 12-month job retention.
