Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is seeking a Reentry Program Specialist to assist justice-involved individuals and veterans in achieving self-sufficiency. You will manage a 16-week paid program, conduct assessments, teach life skills, and provide ongoing support to secure employment.

The role involves intensive case management, curriculum delivery, and collaboration with community partners to help participants transition to stable work and independent living.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in public service or social services.
• Knowledge of the criminal justice system or experience working with ex-prisoners or addiction and recovery.
• Knowledge of veteran support services or experience working with veterans.
• Ability to travel throughout the designated region as required.
• Good organizational skills, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management and education to program participants.
• Facilitate intake, needs assessments, and individualized service plans.
• Coordinate referrals and maintain professional boundaries with clients and stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with community providers and funders.
• Conduct discharge planning and follow-up with partner agencies.
• Prepare progress notes and required documentation weekly.
