GEO Reentry Services LLC. is seeking a Counselor to provide direct client care within a correctional setting, implementing evidence-based readiness and transition programming for a defined caseload.

You will assess clinical issues, establish clear goals, and document progress to meet contract standards. The role requires developing individualized treatment plans, leading psycho-educational groups, and maintaining thorough records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field.
• Professional communication skills and ability to work with data and documentation.
• Preference given to experience within a correctional setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care and implement evidence-based readiness and transition programming.
• Assess clinical issues and set clear objectives and goals for a caseload.
• Document progress and maintain timely case reports to meet contract standards.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Lead group sessions on relapse prevention, anger management, and life skills.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure records are up to date.
• Identify barriers to completion and guide participants to overcome obstacles.
