You will maintain rosters, track attendance, and issue completion certificates in a correctional rehabilitation setting.

The role involves individual and group counseling, reentry planning, and referrals to community resources, contributing to evidence-based outcomes for participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field is required.
• Previous experience as a facilitator/educator/group moderator is required.
• Familiarity with correctional settings is preferred.
• Must have valid state driver’s license.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Understanding of the Principles of Effective Intervention is beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate with a team and use department software.

Responsabilités

• Facilitates delivery of cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Conducts periodic reviews of curriculum and resources to enhance participation.
• Maintains class rosters, attendance records, and issue completion certificates.
• Supports assessment of participant needs and makes referrals.
• Provides individual and group counseling on self-esteem, problem solving, and relationships.
• Communicates with participants regarding reentry planning and community resources.
• Aids participants in planning post-release plans and responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
