GEO Reentry Services LLC. is seeking a Counselor to provide direct client care and implement readiness and transition programming for a caseload of participants in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, individual counseling, group lectures, and maintaining accurate documentation to meet internal and external standards; crisis intervention may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field; master's preferred.
• Experience in correctional settings preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in team and meet contract standards.

Responsabilités

• Assess inmates' substance abuse history and develop treatment plans.
• Lead individual counseling and group sessions weekly.
• Document attendance, progress, and treatment to database.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation timely.
• Conduct risk/need assessments and update plans.
• Perform crisis intervention as needed.
