Job summary

GEO Reentry Services, LLC seeks a Program Facilitator to prepare offenders for community reintegration using Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (CBI), Interactive Journaling, and Life Skills modules. The role includes individual and group counseling in areas such as self-esteem, problem solving, relationships, and related issues, applying evidence-based practices across interactions.

You will coordinate classroom instruction, maintain rosters, develop post-release plans, and support residents

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred.
• Two years of work experience in a related field.
• Familiar with community corrections systems and practices.
• Effective communication and public speaking skills.
• Basic knowledge of case management and referral services.
• Understanding of the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate classroom instruction across career planning, social adjustment, personal management, social skills development, cognitive restructuring and development of problem-solving skills.
• Provide individual and group counseling in areas including self-esteem, problem solving, relationships, and other related issues.
• Communicate with inmates about pre-release activities and plans, defining terminology and identifying community resources.
• Review curriculum and resources to enhance participant participation in pre-release and life skills programs.
• Maintain class rosters, attendance records, and provide certificates for pre-release life skills program.
• Aide inmates in planning and developing post-release plans and encourage responsibility for post-release behaviors.
• Facilitate and co-facilitate didactic educational presentations, group counseling, and individual counseling sessions.
• Assist in coordinating resident program schedules to meet participant needs and goals.
• Maintain documentation, notes and discharge summaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
