Job summary

SimVentions seeks an experienced software security professional with active clearance to join our team. You will apply penetration testing, reverse engineering, and security tooling across Windows and Linux environments.

Responsibilities include debugging software, analyzing logs, and contributing to security documentation while participating in code reviews and threat emulation under DoD/IT programs.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in software engineering applied to DoD or IT systems.
• Linux and Windows enterprise networking knowledge.
• Experience with security tooling and penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows events and Linux logs (syslog, dmesg).
• Develop and debug Web 2.0, Python, C++, and scripting tools.
• Identify security flaws and apply STIGs to systems.
• Contribute to system security documentation and manuals.
• Participate in code reviews and static analysis.
