Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a Red Team Penetration Tester to conduct penetration testing and offensive cybersecurity operations for DoD systems. You will work with Blue Team professionals to raise overall cyber posture and defend critical government networks.

The role requires active security clearance at least Secret, with Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred, and US citizenship. Expect collaboration across networks, security tools, and modern defense-in-depth strategies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years' experience in software engineering applied to program development; modeling and simulation for DoD/IT systems.
• Linux is essential with firm grasp and demonstrated knowledge

Responsibilities

• Debug and reverse engineer software.
• Analyze Windows Events and Linux syslogs.
• Develop and debug Web/GUI tooling using various languages.
• Identify security flaws and propose mitigations.
• Operate systems across HP-UX, UNIX, Linux, Windows.
• Contribute to security and testing documentation.
