Job summary

Springfield Technical Community College is seeking a Recruitment & Retention Coordinator to represent the division on and off-campus, engage prospective students and community partners, and guide applicants through enrollment in workforce development programs.

The role requires coordinating information sessions, campus visits, and ongoing outreach, with a strong emphasis on data-driven tracking and meeting enrollment targets. Evening/weekend availability and travel within the region are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with student recruitment and retention.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel within the Greater Springfield area.

Responsibilities

Represents the division and STCC at recruitment events and information sessions.
Guides students through enrollment steps including applications, orientation, and class registration.
Builds relationships with community organizations to promote programs and increase enrollment.
Maintains data tracking systems for intake, enrollment, demographics, and outcomes.
