Job summary

CT State Community College in Manchester, CT, seeks a Recruitment & Outreach Specialist to drive enrollment through proactive outreach and partnerships. You will oversee inquiries, admissions, and matriculation while coordinating with high schools, adult education programs, and community partners.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 1+ year in a related field, strong office skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. On-site work with occasional evenings/weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriately related field with 1+ years of related experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in office administration and word processing.
• Ability to meet and interact favourably with students, school officials, and others in academic environments.
• Knowledge of enrollment requirements and advising students on academic pathways.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for students from inquiry to enrollment.
• Act as main contact for external partners (high school, adult education, community organizations).
• Monitor enrollment progress and provide resources to support matriculation.
• Attend convocations, committee meetings, and off-hours events as needed.
• Collaborate with campus leadership and departments to support enrollment goals.
