Job summary

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a HR Generalist (Recruitment Focused). This role supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR duties, with a focus on safety-conscious service.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years in HR, a high school diploma or equivalent, and intermediate MS Office skills. It is an on-site role at 2225 W Lower Buckeye Rd, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
• College coursework in a related field preferred.
• Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• DOT drug testing and physical if applicable; DOT 49 CFR Part 40 restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle recruiting, including reviewing applications, scheduling and hosting interviews, and hiring candidates through Jobvite.
• Create and maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork.
• Manage driver and staff payroll and leaves of absence, including FMLA tracking.
• Educate employees on benefits provided.
• Quality Assurance checks ensuring background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify compliance.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests.
• Other duties as required.
