Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator for a full-time onsite role in Warren, MI, with a 45-hour workweek, Monday–Friday.

No experience required—we’ll train the right person and help you break into recruiting, HR, or logistics. You will review and track sign-on and referral bonuses for driver and dock positions, prepare staffing reports, conduct exit interviews, and support leadership with reports and daily start lists.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• MS Office experience including Word & Excel.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Customer service, recruiting, or transportation/logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and track sign-on and referral bonuses for driver and dock positions.
• Prepare weekly driver and dockworker staffing reports, including the critical openings report, recruiting productivity report, and outgoing contacts report.
• Market research for potential new business or challenging locations including rate studies
• Conduct Exit Interviews with outgoing employees, and track results using online survey tools and reporting results to senior management
• Prepare and send out daily start list for new drivers, dock and mechanics
• Compile monthly turnover reports
• Providing administrative support as needed to recruitment department leadership team
