Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is hiring a Recruitment Coordinator for the Warren, MI area. The role focuses on onboarding bonuses, staffing reports, market research, and exit Interviews, with duties spanning driver, dock, and mechanic roles.

The position requires strong communication, MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task. On-site work Monday–Friday, 45 hours weekly, full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time management skills.
• MS Office experience including proficient use of Word & Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• A sense of urgency, motivation, and grit.
• Customer service, sales, recruiting, or transportation/logistics experience is a plus.
• High school diploma is required; post-secondary education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, process and track sign-on and referral bonuses for driver and dock positions.
• Prepare weekly driver and dockworker staffing reports, including the critical openings report, recruiting productivity report, and outgoing contacts report.
• Market research for potential new business or challenging locations including rate studies
• Conduct Exit Interviews with outgoing employees, and track results using online survey tools and reporting results to senior management
• Prepare and send out daily start list for new drivers, dock and mechanics
• Compile monthly turnover reports
• Providing administrative support as needed to recruitment department leadership team
