TEEMA is seeking a reliable Assembly Specialist for a clean, modern manufacturing setting in Emeryville, CA. You will build products, manage digital records, and collaborate with the team to maintain efficient workflows.

Responsibilities include assembling components per specifications, performing quality checks, and updating digital work orders. The role requires basic computer literacy and strong attention to detail with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand all shift and lift up to 60 lbs, occasional 80 lbs.
  • Experience with digital work orders and routine internal logging.
  • Availability Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with overtime.
  • Strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble finished products and subassemblies from components according to detailed specifications and schematics.
  • Meet production deadlines while upholding craftsmanship and quality.
  • Perform visual quality checks on outgoing units and report defects promptly.
  • Fill out digital work orders to support real-time inventory tracking.
  • Suggest operational improvements to optimize builds and workflows.
  • Participate in routine cycle counts and annual inventory audits.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workstation following plant guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Assembly Specialist to join our team in a clean, modern manufacturing setting. In this role, you will build quality products, manage digital records, and collaborate with your team to maintain efficient workflow standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assembly & Quality Control
  • Build finished products and subassemblies from raw components according to detailed technical specifications and schematics.
  • Consistently hit production deadlines while upholding strict craftsmanship standards.
  • Perform regular visual quality checks on all outgoing units, promptly reporting any defects or anomalies to the lead.
  • Adapt swiftly to shifting daily tasks and evolving production priorities.
  • Process Improvement & Records
  • Proactively suggest operational improvements to optimize product builds and workflows.
  • Fill out digital work orders accurately to ensure real-time inventory tracking.
  • Inventory & Safety
  • Participate in routine cycle counts and annual full-scale physical inventory audits.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and hazard-free workstation in accordance with plant safety guidelines.
  • Support additional production tasks as requested by management.
QUALIFICATIONS & CAPABILITIES
  • Technical & Manual Skills: Strong fine-motor skills and dexterity for handling small parts; basic computer literacy for managing digital work orders and routine internal logging.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand throughout a standard shift and regularly lift up to 60 lbs, with occasional lifting up to 80 lbs when moving completed builds to pallets.
  • Professional Attributes: High level of dependability, strong communication skills, an eye for detail, and a team-first mindset.
  • Work Schedule: Available Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with reliable transportation and flexibility for advance-notice overtime.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
