Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking reliable Assembly Technicians to join our production team in Frederick, MD. You will assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand and power tools, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring quality to meet daily production goals.

Ideal candidates can read a tape measure to 1/8 inch, work well on an assembly line, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following written and verbal instructions from supervisors and leads.

Qualifications

  • Experience in assembly/manufacturing preferred.
  • Read tape measures to 1/8 inch.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Know metric measurements and basic math.
  • Able to operate hand and power tools.
  • Follow instructions and maintain quality.
  • Stand for long shifts; repetitive tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and products per specs.
  • Use hand and power tools safely.
  • Mount hardware such as bolts and screws.
  • Read blueprints and schematics for accuracy.
  • Measure with metric system and tape measures.
  • Position parts according to drawings.
  • Identify parts needed for jobs.
  • Conduct quality inspections of finished products.
  • Maintain production efficiency and daily output.
  • Follow supervisor instructions.
  • Keep work area clean and safe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Technicians to join our production team. In this role, you will assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools and power tools while maintaining quality standards and meeting daily production goals. The ideal candidate can read blueprints and schematics, use measuring tools accurately, and work effectively in a fast-paced assembly line environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble components, subassemblies, products, and systems according to specifications and work instructions.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Mount and assemble components including coils, blowers, compressors, and related equipment.
  • Install and attach hardware such as bolts, washers, screws, nuts, and fasteners.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Measure materials and components using the metric system and tape measures to ensure proper fit and alignment.
  • Position and align parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and gather parts required to complete assembly jobs.
  • Conduct quality inspections and verify finished products meet company standards.
  • Maintain production efficiency and meet daily output goals.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and team leads.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/8-inch increments.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
  • Knowledge of metric measurements and basic math skills.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work in an assembly line or fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to meet productivity and attendance expectations.
  • Capable of standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
