This is a 360° Recruitment Consultant role with a strong focus on Business Development (BD). The position requires candidates to be involved in both client development andrecruitment delivery, independently or in collaboration with the team, and manage thefull recruitment cycle from client acquisition, job requirement analysis, talent mapping, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer negotiation to onboarding andlong-term client relationship management.
Job Responsibilities
1. Client Development & Business Development
- Monitor the U.S. talent market, recruitment trends, and key industry developments to continuously identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Build and expand client relationships across key industries, including Technology, AI, FMCG, Manufacturing, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.
- Participate in industry conferences, chamber of commerce events, trade shows, networking events, and other business activities to develop new corporate accounts. Focus on developing clients among Chinese companies hiring in the U.S., cross-border companies expanding into the U.S. market, and U.S.-based companies.
- Independently manage the full BD cycle, from prospecting and needs discovery to business communication, contract negotiation, project initiation, and long-term client relationship management.
2. Business Negotiation & Project Management
- Communicate with clients regarding recruitment service models, fee structures, cooperation terms, and project execution processes.
- Develop tailored recruitment solutions based on clients’ hiring needs and drive contract negotiations through to successful signing.
- Coordinate with the recruitment delivery team to ensure smooth project execution, provide timely project updates, and maintain a high-quality client experience.
- Follow up on project progress, identify potential issues, and facilitate communication between clients and internal recruitment teams.
3. Client Relationship Management
- Regularly organize and analyze client and market information and maintain a clear client pipeline and business development plan.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive client database, including key contacts, organizational structures, hiring needs, and cooperation history.
- Segment prospects based on their business potential and engagement stage, and develop appropriate follow-up strategies for each stage.
- Regularly review key BD metrics, including lead conversion, client acquisition, signed projects, project volume, and revenue, and continuously optimize business development strategies and approaches.
4. Recruitment Delivery & Candidate Management
- Conduct candidate searches and talent mapping independently or in collaboration with the TA team based on client JDs and target candidate profiles.
- Utilize LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, talent databases, industry networks, and professional communities to identify and engage qualified candidates.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and interviews, assessing experience, career development, motivation, compensation expectations, and work authorization.
- Present qualified candidates to clients with professional Candidate Recommendation Reports / Candidate Profiles.
- Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates and manage the full process, including interview feedback, offer communication, compensation negotiation, and onboarding follow-up.
- Drive recruitment projects forward, coordinate with clients and internal recruitingteams, resolve issues throughout the process, and ensure a positive client experience.
- Follow up with placed candidates and clients after hire to support guarantee-period management and long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Chinese and English, with the ability to conduct business communications, conference calls, email correspondence, and commercial negotiations in both languages.
- 2+ years of experience in executive search, recruitment, RPO, HR services, B2B sales, business development, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in U.S. market business development or an established network of U.S.-based corporate clients is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively develop new business through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and other outbound channels.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand clients’ businesses, organizational needs, and recruitment requirements.
- Highly goal-oriented and execution-driven, with a strong focus on business results and the ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with recruitment and delivery teams.
- Experience using LinkedIn, CRM systems, and other business development or client management tools is preferred.
- Strong interest in the U.S. recruitment market, executive search industry, and talent solutions sector.
