Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in San Francisco is seeking a Team Lead for Recruiting Coordination to scale our hiring operations. You will supervise coordinators, design scalable processes, and own the scheduling, ATS stack, and Early Careers programs, reporting to the Head of Talent.

You will partner with recruiters and hiring managers to balance interviewer capacity, drive a top-tier candidate experience, and build training to shorten ramp time.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in recruiting coordination or related talent ops role with 1–2+ years of team management.
• Proven ability to build or mature a coordination process with measurable results.
• Proficiency with ATS and scheduling platforms (Greenhouse and ModernLoop or equivalents).
• Experience owning university or Early Careers programs and external partnerships.
• Ability to define metrics and report to leadership, translating data into process changes.
• Exceptional organization and detail-orientation, juggling multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, hire and retain the recruiting coordination team with clear expectations.
• Design and document end-to-end coordination process including SOPs and SLAs.
• Own and administer scheduling and ATS stack (Greenhouse, ModernLoop, etc.).
• Own Early Careers hiring plans, timelines, and requisition processes.
• Partner with recruiters and interviewers to set capacity and calibrate pools.
• Drive initiatives to enhance candidate experience from first touch to offer.
• Build onboarding and training so ramp is measured in weeks.
• Plan capacity against hiring forecast and justify headcount or tooling needs.
