Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is seeking an on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana to support high-volume, full-cycle recruiting across its Energy, Agronomy, and Feed, Livestock & Grain divisions focused on apprenticeship programs.

• Clear understanding of full life cycle recruiting.
• Proven success building sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing and creative candidate generation.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers on the recruiting process.
• Excellent interviewing skills to establish rapport and gather information from hiring managers.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, ATS, and knowledge of data mining and internet research.
• Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting early-career and/or entry-level roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for designated Keystone divisions.
• Build partnerships with high schools, career centers, training programs, and community organizations to identify candidates for apprenticeship programs and entry-level roles.
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to maximize recruiting effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the hiring team to develop recruiting strategies for open positions and ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, with candidates assessed against criteria.
• Proactively grow candidate relationships and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent for current and future needs.
• Source and screen candidates using a range of channels, including internet job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, resume mining techniques, social media, job fairs, associations, and vendors.
• Prepare and extend employment offers and assist with the pre-employment process.
• Maintain pertinent applicant and interview data.

Keystone Cooperative, Inc. is hiring an on-site Talent Acquisition Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana (westside) to support high-volume, full-cycle recruiting across its Energy, Agronomy, and Feed, Livestock & Grain divisions. This role focuses primarily on apprenticeship programs in development, with additional support for early-career and entry-level hiring.

Working onsite at the Indianapolis office at least four days per week, the Recruiter will also travel as needed across Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. The position requires a clear understanding of full lifecycle recruiting and at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for designated Keystone divisions
• Build partnerships with high schools, career centers, training programs, and community organizations to identify candidates for apprenticeship programs and entry-level roles
• Partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to maximize recruiting effectiveness
• Collaborate with the hiring team to develop recruiting strategies for open positions and ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood, with candidates assessed against criteria
• Proactively grow candidate relationships and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent for current and future needs
• Develop applicant flow for open positions and manage external partnerships as needed
• Source and screen candidates using a range of channels, including internet job boards, employee referrals, internet search engines, resume mining techniques, social media, job fairs, associations, and vendors
• Ensure a positive candidate experience from sourcing through onboarding
• Guide candidates professionally throughout interviews by scheduling, setting expectations, providing feedback, negotiating offers effectively, and supporting a welcoming onboarding experience
• Maintain timely follow-up with hiring managers and candidates throughout the process
• Participate in hiring discussions by gathering and consolidating feedback from interview team members to support hiring decisions
• Assist with high school grad rotational and college internship programs as needed
• Maintain pertinent applicant and interview data
• Prepare and extend employment offers and assist with the pre-employment process
• Complete special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

• Clear understanding of full life cycle recruiting
• Proven success building sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing and creative candidate generation
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to partner with and coach hiring managers on the recruiting process
• Excellent interviewing skills to establish rapport and gather information from hiring managers
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to large groups or staffing job fair booths
• Strong organization and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and judgment skills with a positive attitude and attention to detail
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and knowledge of data mining and internet research
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of employment laws
• Customer service aptitude and team player mindset
• Minimum 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting early-career and/or entry-level roles
• Connection to or knowledge of agronomy/agriculture is helpful
• Workday experience preferred
• Some travel required, typically heavier during Fall & Spring recruitment seasons
• Although hybrid, ability and willingness to work from the Indianapolis office four days a week and travel as required
