Position Summary
The Recruiter in Training is an entry‑level recruiting position designed to develop future high‑performing healthcare recruiters through a structured twelve‑month training program. This role combines classroom learning, hands‑on recruiting, mentorship, and performance coaching to build the skills necessary to become a successful full‑cycle healthcare recruiter.
Participants will work alongside experienced recruiters while learning healthcare staffing, sourcing strategies, relationship management, compliance, candidate engagement, and client service. As competency and performance increase, the Recruiter in Training will assume greater ownership of the recruiting process with the goal of achieving full productivity within six months.
Essential Responsibilities
- Source healthcare professionals through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and outbound recruiting.
- Conduct candidate interviews and qualification assessments.
- Match candidates with client opportunities based on skills, experience, and career goals.
- Present employment opportunities and guide candidates through the hiring process.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and follow‑up.
- Build trust and long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals.
- Educate candidates regarding assignments, benefits, credentialing, and onboarding requirements.
- Represent Vibra Travels with professionalism and integrity.
- Successfully complete all phases of the Recruiter in Training Program.
- Participate in classroom instruction, shadowing, coaching sessions, and ongoing training.
- Meet established learning objectives and recruiting milestones.
- Apply coaching feedback to continuously improve performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the applicant tracking system and CRM.
- Support credentialing and onboarding processes.
- Follow all company policies, healthcare regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain recruiting activity records and reporting metrics.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- One year of customer service, sales, recruiting, healthcare, or related experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, performance‑driven environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred
- Healthcare staffing experience.
- Sales or recruiting experience.
