Job summary

Eastern Janitorial Company in New Jersey is seeking a Recruiter to attract, source, and hire qualified candidates for hourly and salaried positions across the organization. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining candidate communication.

You will partner with hiring managers to meet staffing needs, ensure a positive candidate experience, and support company growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using ATS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Source, recruit, and screen qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Create and manage job postings across multiple platforms.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and schedule interviews.
  • Complete pre-employment processes including background checks and onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate applicant records in the ATS.
  • Build relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Attend hiring events and recruitment fairs as needed.
  • Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Perform additional recruiting and HR-related duties as assigned.

Job description

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $45,000.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Recruiter plays a vital role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring qualified candidates for primarily hourlyand salaried positions across the organization. This position is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting jobs, screening applicants, scheduling interviews, coordinating onboarding, and maintaining candidate communication. The Recruiter works closely with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met while providing an excellent candidate experience and supporting company growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for security, janitorial, concierge, maintenance, and administrative positions.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now Recruiting or similar ATS.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring best practices.
  • Experience conducting interviews and coordinating onboarding activities.

Compensation:

Annual Salary: $40,000–$45,000, based on qualifications and experience.
