Job summary

LSI Staffing in Smithfield, VA is seeking an Associate Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 3–4 month temporary contract on site. You will support recruiting from start to finish, helping qualified candidates move through the hiring process efficiently and professionally.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay rate is $21–$23 per hour, onsite.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Recruiting or talent acquisition experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ATS systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel to other locations approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruiting activities from sourcing through hire.
• Source and screen candidates using Indeed, LinkedIn, and other recruiting platforms.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines to support ongoing staffing needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to align recruiting efforts with demand.
• Provide timely communication to candidates and support a positive candidate experience.
• Maintain accurate applicant records and track recruiting metrics.
• Support process improvements and assist with compliance requirements.
