Job summary

Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support service centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

The role requires willingness to travel to Service Centers, Career Fairs, school or club presentations, and hiring events. You will collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals and develop a strong pipeline of candidates using social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, and search

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience interviewing and reviewing applications is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various Service Centers, career fairs, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at multiple levels.
• Recruit hourly employees and interns and conduct interviews.
• Arrange interviews for Hiring Managers and follow up with candidates.
• Advance candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system.
• Create Training Schedule for new employees.
• Assist new hires with onboarding and orientation at the Service Center level.
• Train new Service Center employees.
• Maintain communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs.

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring ManagersFollowing up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
