Dayton Freight Lines, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to support our service centers in recruiting, hiring, training and onboarding quality candidates.

The role requires travel to service centers and events, collaboration with the Recruiting Manager, and building a strong pipeline using multiple channels. The ideal candidate has detail-oriented multitasking abilities, excellent communication, and solid HR/recruiting experience.

Aufgaben

• Assist Service Centers with recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of candidates.
• Travel to Service Centers, career fairs, school events, and hiring events.
• Collaborate with Recruiting Manager to align strategies with goals.
• Develop and source candidate pipelines via job boards, social media, referrals, and agencies.
• Review applications for candidates at various levels and recruit hourly employees and interns.
• Interview applicants in-person and virtually; set up interviews for Hiring Managers.
• Advance candidates through the interview process in the ATS; coordinate communications.
• Create training schedules for new employees; assist onboarding and orientation at Service Centers.
• Train new Service Center employees; maintain communication with leadership on staffing needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Recruiter, you will assist Service Centers in the recruitment, hiring, training and onboarding of quality candidates.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel to various Service Centers, Career Fairs, School or Club presentations, and hiring events
• Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to align recruiting strategies to meet goals
• Develop and source a strong pipeline of candidates using a variety of methods including social media, job boards, LinkedIn, Indeed, employee referrals, search agencies, etc
• Reviewing applications for candidates at various levels
• Recruiting hourly employees and Interns
• Interviewing applicants both in-person and virtually
• Setting up interviews for Hiring ManagersFollowing up with candidates during the interview process
• Advancing candidates through the Interview and Hiring Process in applicant tracking system
• Creating Training Schedule for new employees
• Assisting new hires with on-boarding and orientation at the Service Center level
• Training new Service Center employees
• Maintaining communication with Service Center leadership on staffing needs
• Other duties as assigned
